Happy Friday. It's the last day of November and I've been recapping my month. Here are some things I have been thankful for this part month.
1. Having a gorgeous new niece join our family. Wow are are ever blessed.
2. Visiting the temple. Nothing like being reminded of how much our Heavenly Father loves us.
3. Moved into my new place with Katie- so far having so much fun :)
4. Christmas Decorations are up! Tis the season :)
5. Car is all fixed thanks to my amazing father :)
6. Hanging out with old friends. Some things never change :)
7. Naps. Believe me I am thankful for those!
8. Help. It's not easy for me to ask for help. But with the Fishmas Christmas Party around the corner I have needed it!
9. Those random moments when someone lets you know that you're on their mind. Thank you!
10. Music. How thankful am I to be given opportunities to develope my talent and love of music.
Things I'm ready to say goodbye to.
1. Movember. Seriously guys- it's not hot.
2. People who are negative at those who start celebrating Christmas in November. Get over it. Have the Christmas spirit all year long.
3. STUPID CAR INSURANCE!
4. STUPID PHONE COMPNAY!
(Seriously had an awful weekend with those two. Must have been a full moon with my bank or something)
5. Those last 10 pounds. Starting my 30 day challenge tomorrow...eeeek!!
I hope everyone has had a great November. Hope December treats you well!

Trimming the tree, Eva's Blessing
What a weekend. Well my friends we ended up putting up our Christmas decorations this weekend!! Me and the roomie went to Wal-Mart to buy our tree and couldn't wait to get home and put it up-which we did right away. I love it :) Our house is starting to feel more like a home, yay! On Sunday Eve-Marie, my new and adorable niece got blessed in our family ward- Parkland. How thankful am I for a Father who honors his Priesthood and was able to give that precious girl a blessing. He was beaming with joy as he showed her off. He truly is a proud Grandpa with all the kids. There was one thing in her blessing that really stood out to me. A few years ago I got a blessing myself, and although I shall not repeat the line that was given to me, it stuck out to me a lot and I've always remembered it. In her blessing, the same line was given. Now maybe it's just fluke or whatever, but it make the tears start flowing thats for sure. Eva, I am so thankful you have been sent to our family. I hope I can be the Auntie you need and look up too.
Here are some photos from my weekend.

It's Friday!!!!
Phew! It's finally Friday! Thank goodness, what a long week it's been. So far this week has consisted of work, getting settled in my new place and singing. The Calgary Institute Choir is holding our Christmas Concert "Jesus Christ is born" on December 16th 2012 at the North Stake Centre- you are all invited. Me and 3 friends got together to put together a version of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen". Let me tell you it's be tough as there is no sheet music for it besides as a solo, so we've been putting our own spin on it as best we can. I feel that it will be AMAZING once we are done with it :)
How thankful am I that this beautiful Christmas season is upon us. Yes I know it's only November but Christmas only comes once a year and I am going to milk it for all it's worth. My Christmas baking and decorating the house starts tomorrow-I AM SO EXCITED! It will be a delightful time with the roommate Katie and I believe that yes Christmas Sweaters will be worn :) If you are bored and wish to stop by please feel free too!
Here is just a few things I've been up to this week. Have a great weekend homies!

Moving Day!
What a weekend. I moved! Only 4 houses down and 1 up, but it's still a move! As much as I shall miss living with Rebecca and Lily, I am excited to live with Katie. It was a very long Saturday but I am thankful for Mary-Clare, Brad, Dad and Katie for helping me lug all my stuff over. Had a nice little clear out of that junk that we always keep because we think we will end up needing it one day, but that day never comes crap. Bought some new bedding- which I LOVE. and then went out with miss Aida for the night. Sadly I got super sick and spent the majority of Sunday in bed or throwing up. Feeling better now thankfully. Now it's back to another work week. Here are some photos from the move :D
Teal and light grey. Love it!

When nothing goes right...
When nothing goes right....go left :D
A lot of changes are beginning to occure in my life. For the good, the bad, and the down right ugly. Some I've felt a little lost on the road and didn't know which way to turn. Yet I think I'm slowly figuring it out. Maybe the path I thought was right for me isn't. I think it's time to start going left.
I'll let you know what I find.

EFY 2013
My EFY interview was yesterday. It went really well and I am really hopeful of next year. However there are some rumours I feel I should put to rest.
EFY 2013 will be now only 1 week long. GASP! SHOCK! HORROR! They are only presenting one week because the price has gone up so much they are not sure how many people will sign up. HOWEVER if it fills up quickly, and there is a high demand for more weeks of EFY in Alberta there is ALWAYS possibilities for more weeks to be added. So my suggestion is to sign up quickly and make EFY in Alberta be in demand. We have too many youth who wont get in and get the amazing opportunity if they only do one week.
There is some good news though. It will be an OVERNIGHT session!!!!!!! They are not going to be doing a stay-at-home this year because of the lack of sign up last year and the demand of an overnight. A light at the end of the tunnel hey!
Let me know what you think :D

Snowflake Miracle
With the snow falling down it really is begining to feel like Christmas is on its way. O how I love this time of year. Yes I know it's only November but getting into the Christmas spirit is okay with me :D
I have to share my joy and excitment with what happened yesterday. I suffer from Keratosis Pilaris - or as I like to call it "Chicken Skin", on my arms. I hate it and feel bad for any boy who has ever had to put their arm around me...so not attractive. I have tried countless amounts of scrubs and exfoliators and always been disappointed by them. I also have SUPER sensitive skin as it as so I always have be careful what kinds I try. Well, last night after doing some cleaning I decided to give myself a manicure. What a way to spend a perfect snowy evening. I had my hot chocolate, a blanket, the Big Bang Theory (O Sheldon how I love thee) and was doing a manicure. Last Christmas I had received "Snowflake" by BeatiControl. So I cracked it open and OH MY GOSH! This stuff smelt amazing!!!!! I instantly wanted to eat it, it seriously smelt that good. I tried it on my hands and boy o boy did they feel amazing after- like pure heaven. Then I got to thinking .....which can sometimes not be a good thing....what if I tried this scrub on my legs....I get super dry legs in the winter. My legs have never felt so soft! Seriously. Take a feel :) That's when I started thinking about my arms. I had nothing to loose ( except my chicken skin :D) I was THRILLED!!!! The results were perfect. My arms felt new. The bumps were gone. THE BUMPS WERE GONE :D :D :D !!!!!!!!
I am so excited and will have to stock up on this amazing scrub. If you happen to suffer from dry skin, bumpy arms or just need a good manicure try this scrub! Screw instant manicure, more like instant miracle.

Harry Potter Movie Marathon
Yes folks thats right. I feel that it is time for another Harry Potter movie marathon. Me and my 2 friends Brigitta and Katie (who are awesome!) decided that over new years this past January thats what we would do. However I feel that it is time for another one. It will be over a Friday night and then finish up on the Saturday. Treats, pj's, wands? (and of course the occasional red bull for me!) When I figure out a date- which will be soon- just let me know if you're in. Drop by anytime!

Don't you worry your pretty little mind...
I have one of the greatest friends ever. She knew exactly what I need after a heartbreak. Taylor Swift. Me and Aida have a love for Taylor Swift and love going to her concerts together. Infact for my birthday Aida got me a mirror with Taylor Swifts lyrics written on it "Dont you worry your pretty little mind, people throw rocks at things that shine." "Stay beautiful Jane" (hence the name of my blog :D) Yesterday in the mail Aida sent me a package of Taylor Swifts new ablum "Red" along with a note that said all it needed to. How thankful am I for friends who dont even have to be in the city and still know what you need to hear. Love you IDAHO!

Welcome today the world you sweet little witch.
Witch? Why yes I can call her that! Why? Because my friends this bundle of joy was born on Halloween.
This October the 31st 2012 was amazing. My wonderful sister Rebecca went into labour that morning only to be told get straight to the hospital. What a dramatic turn of events this day was. There I am lying in bed trying to sleep as late as possible because I had a night shift that evening but then NO!My sister comes in my room tells me it's go time and she has to go to the hospital. Rebecca is amazing, she continued to pack and do laundry all while in agonizing pain. I offered to help but if you've met her you know how stubborn that woman is.
She went to the hospital where they couldnt figure out if they were to send her home or not. However this little one had other plans and wanted out so they did a c-section. Becky was prepared for this as she had a c-section with her other daughter Lily-Mae.
Here are some photos of this sweet childs first minutes in the world.
